Are all WATA products made from Organic Cotton?
Yes. All WATA products are crafted exclusively from 100% Long-Staple Organic Cotton, chosen for its superior softness and natural breathability.
To ensure the highest level of safety and transparency, our textiles are GOTS and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
What makes WATA towels different?
WATA towels are defined by the fusion of Japanese textile engineering and Portuguese manufacturing mastery. Inspired by traditional Japanese techniques, we use a specialized spinning process that treats our long-staple Organic Cotton with the utmost precision.
Unlike conventional methods, this technique preserves the natural integrity of the fibers, allowing the yarn to retain microscopic air pockets. What certifications do your products hold?
Transparency and safety are the pillars of WATA. Our towels hold two of the most prestigious certifications in the global textile industry:
- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): this guarantees that our cotton is 100% organic and that the entire production chain, from harvesting to the final product, follows rigorous environmental and social criteria, free from pesticides and genetically modified organisms.
- OEKO-TEX® Standard 100: this certification ensures that every thread, fiber, and finish has been tested for hundreds of harmful substances, ensuring our textiles are safe for your skin and suitable for even the most sensitive skin types.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online payments via all major credit cards, PayPal, Klarna, MB Way, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Available options may vary by delivery country and will always be displayed at checkout. Please note that each order can be completed using only one payment method.
Can I change or cancel my order?
At WATA, we want every experience to feel right. If your order has not yet been processed, it may be possible to change or cancel it. If this is your case, please contact us as soon as possible at info@watatowels.com, including your order number in the subject line of the email.
I need to change my order, but it’s already being processed. What should I do?
Once an order has entered the processing stage, we are no longer able to make changes or cancellations. In this case, we suggest waiting for the delivery and, if necessary, initiating our free returns process.
To return your items, please use the return label included in your package and ensure the box is securely sealed to prevent any damage during transit.

How can I cancel my order?

What is the status of my order?
You can track your order status in your account under the “Orders” section. Additionally, you will receive an email notification whenever there is an update in the shipping process.
If you placed your order as a guest, all updates will be sent directly to your email.
SHIPPING
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on the destination and the total value of your order. The final amount will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.
We offer free shipping on all orders of €200 or more.
When will I receive my order?
Delivery times vary depending on the destination. An estimated timeframe will be shown at checkout once your shipping address has been entered.
As a general rule, orders are dispatched the next business day following order confirmation. We want you to experience the WATA lifestyle as soon as possible.
Will I receive tracking information for my order?
Yes. As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email from the carrier with a tracking link.
Additionally, you will receive an email from the carrier whenever there is an update to your order’s delivery status.
I need to change my shipping address. How do I do it?

What is WATA’s return policy?
At WATA, your satisfaction is our priority. We know the impact a great bathing experience can have on your well-being routine. If, for any reason, your order does not meet your expectations, we accept free returns within 30 days of the order date.

When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed once the returned items have been received and inspected. As soon as the refund is issued, you will receive a confirmation email.
The amount will be refunded using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
MAINTENANCE
How should I care for my towels?
To preserve the softness and absorbency of your WATA towels, we recommend the following care:
- Wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C, using only the recommended amount of detergent.
- Avoid chemical fabric softeners, as these create a film over the fibers that can reduce the Organic Cotton’s natural absorbency.
- Tumble dry on a low or medium heat setting. The airflow helps keep the fibers loose and the texture naturally fluffy.
Extra tip: before hanging your towels or placing them in the dryer, give them a light shake to release the fibers and preserve their volume.
How can I prevent my towels from fading?
To keep your WATA towels looking vibrant for as long as possible, we recommend a few simple steps:
- Color separation: always wash dark colors separately from whites or light tones to prevent color bleeding.
- Gentle detergents: use mild liquid detergents, preferably those without optical brighteners or bleach, which can strip away color over time.
- Avoid direct sunlight: when air-drying, avoid prolonged exposure to direct, harsh sunlight, as UV rays can fade natural fibers.
Pro tip: for the first few washes of vibrant colors, add a small amount of white vinegar to the softener compartment. This helps "set" the dye within the organic cotton fibers.
